You cannot use the Eleven Rack on a USB hub. See page 48 of your manual.

For the ilok key you can use any hub. Doesn't even have to be active. I have mine in my Apple keyboard.

This one has worked great for me:
http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Macally/TRIHUB7/ As mentioned, you can't plug your Eleven Rack, or most other usb interfaces into it, but I've got my Iloks, printer, and midi keyboard controller plugged in and it works great.
