Interesting... I received a notification of billing issues last week and updated my info accordingly. Once I did, my subscription status showed as "active" until this morning when I got another email saying there was a problem with billing. I re-entered my info once again and, just like before, my subscription currently says it is active. I will check on it when I get back home today, and hopefully get it up and running with the temp license you supplied. Thanks for your help. I hope it's just a billing thing, much easier to deal with issues on my end |

Different problem... your Pro Tools Subscription license is on the iLok you reported stolen. Replied to your support case so please check your email and reply to that. Thanks!

Jeff,
I understand that, but my problem is past 4 weeks old now. I purchased a renewal license from a third party vendor (Sweetwater) as directed by Avid several weeks ago and is still waiting for resolution to this problem. I was last informed that Avid was still awaiting a replacement code. Very frustrated customer at this point.

It's important to note here that you own a perpetual license. Your license won't expire, so this issue will not impact your use of Pro Tools. We'll get your Upgrade Plan renewal in place before the end of your term so that you'll continue to receive new software releases.

Problem here with upgrade to 12.7.1 too -
PT HD wont start. Updatet Ilok, updated License, in Application Manager everything seems fine. Case number 03169131 Please help! |

Sorry.. newbie here but having the same issue
ILOK shows my PT monthly subscription is expired...but AVID site shows clearly it is active through April and on auto renewal... How has this not been solved on a global level yet. PLEASE HELP ME GET BACK TO WORK! Case number submitted 03170224 |

I have PT 11. I have had the same licensing issues for the past few months since January, 2017.
I had online support however it seemed endless... I could not use my PT for weeks... VERY frustrating. To follow, are some things that might get you (US) closer to actually recording some music. Make sure that you have activated your Master Avid Account. That assures that your computer is talking with Avid online and is an open gateway to install license updates, etc, Also, make sure that you have checked your iLok account (iLok.com) for any updated licenses. Click open every link you can in your iLok account and make sure that you have 'Auto Renewal' activated for Avid to automatically charge your credit card monthly; or whatever terms you have agreed to. Otherwise, you have to physically authorize licensing monthly to use your PT software. Hopefully, this info will be helpful to someone out here while you are awaiting clarity form Avid customer support... Tthief |
