MBox Pro and Pro Tools 10 Problems

I have a new Mbox pro and pro tools. Both worked fine for a week or so. One day I was out and I played the protools on the laptop without the mbox and the audio came out of the laptop speakers fine. When I got home, I set back up the mbox. However, the music is still coming thru the laptop speakers. Also, I get no signal in pro tools when I 'record enable' the track. All the i/o stuff seems to be the same. The mic sound comes thru the mbox speakers fine. On the laptop the mbox control thing is there and the signal registers there, but just not in pro tools. Ocassionally I have seen a sort of spiked signal coming out of ch 02 , 03, 04 of the mbox...even though nothing is input there. I did updates of protools and drivers etc and still nothing. Remember this worked fine for about a week now this nonsense is happening. I am at a lost. I already used my code with AVID support when setting up the equipment.

Hold the N key while opening Pro Tools(with the Mbox connected) and select the Mbox as the audio engine.
