Default Conforming a project recorded in PT on location

Over the years I've recorded many projects on location using DAxx type decks w/ TC. I would send a scratch
mix either to the video cameras or to a TCDAT and the picture editors would cut with that audio. When they were done, they would give me an audio-only EDL and I would conform their edit from the original multi-track tapes into the computer. Now I'm thinking of moving on to using PT and a laptop as a location recorder for these jobs. How would I conform the multitrack to the picture edit under these circumstances? The location PT session would have the same TC as the original field videotapes .
Does one of the Gallery apps or Titan do this--conform a PT session to an EDL? (PT6.x)

thanks

Philip Perkins

Titan (v3) will certainly do the job for you.

As a sound editor myself I have also written a program that can conform PT v6 sessions. It can be downloaded for free from www.editrace.com. (Called EdiTrace Auto)

EdiTrace Auto was developed to conform "Change EDLs" created using the EdiTrace website, but we are currently developing a new option that will enable you to convert Audio EDLs for use in EdiTrace Auto. Hence there will be a charge per EDL.

If you like, in the mean time I can convert your EDLs via email mark@editrace.com. The converted EDL can then be loaded into EdiTrace Auto to conform your PT6 session.

Regards Mark
