Default Re: Convolution Reverbs

I have the IR-1 and just upgraded it to v5.
You can now buy the lite version for less.
Is it good? Yes it is.
Can you make your own convolutions? yes you can.

The only thing I've experienced with the IR-1 is CPU bandwidth (although you have some control over this) and the stereo effect is drastic making it neccessary to compress afterward.
Lots of control with predelay, reverb starting point, EQ, and all the essentials.
Only thing missing is the button you can simply change reverb style such as Hall, Chamber, Plate. These are all found in the basic presets.
Waves is also still collecting more convolutions and are free to registered owners.
There is a library at Waves' acoustics.net

I have also used Lexicon's Pantheon which is Sweeeeeeet, but does not come in RTAS or VST.

Compared to TrueVerb and RenVerb, IR-1 has much more character.

IMHO
