You could use this: https://www.audinate.com/products/so...tual-soundcard

Mac audio then appears as a source on the Dante network that can be patched into DADman.

Sorry Dave but this is just not happening here. What should I be using. Dante VIA or Dante Virtual Soundcard?

At last success. The MTRX is talking to the Mac Pro and vice versa via Dante. Whew. That was a process.

I too started with a Dante connection, but every time when I opend a sesseion with another samplefreq. I had to manually set the mac's dante samplefreq. to the corresponding samplefreq.
In the end I bought an RME AES pcie card which switches automaticly with a samplefreq change.

Had the same problem and for a long time I used an Apollo going into the MTRX via analogue.
I've just bought the 128 channel MTRX Dante Card (as I am out of Dante channels) and that is supposed to SRC.
I'll advise if that is the case when it arrives.

I agree, this is really frustrating. Even more annoying is that, at least under Catalina on my Mac Pro, Dante Controller often fails to reset the sample rate of DVS (you can change it but it has no effect).

I need some help with bringing both MAC audio and PT via Dante to Dadman.
Dante 1-6 is PT 5.1 routing. and 7-8 MAC Audio.
how can I send MAC AU to PT L&R Audio at the same time? it seems that only one source can be routed to one output or I'm missing something?

UPDATE: got it working by changing Switch monitor to Sum. just want to make sure this is the right way to monitor both Mac audio and PT via Dadman.

Thanks.

FYI - DADman 5.4.4.2 is now available in Avid accounts and I would highly recommend updating to it. It includes numerous bug fixes.

best,

Jeff
