Default Windows XP optimization - AMIII card.

All -

I've already used the search feature of the DUC. I have a (used) Audio Media III card on the way. I'm planning on DL'ing PTLE v5.3.1. I am already running Windows XP Professional.

I haven't been able to find anything regarding optimization of the XP OS for audio processing and namely PTLE v5.3.1.

Can anyone help me ? Perhaps point me to a discussion on the DUC or a website ?

I'll put in a good word with Santa Claus for ya !

regards,

Besides little things like eliminating things running in the background and not showing contents while dragging. I would really just leave XP alone. It doesn't like to be messed with. Stay topical with your tweaks. JMO though...
