Default Waves 3.2 on dual G4--why am I getting errors?

I have a fairly up-to-date system that is choking big time on several of the Waves TDM plug-ins. It's a G4 dual 450 with about 1 gb ram, sys 9.1, DAE 5.1.1 with Pro Tools 24 (non-mix) hardware--a d24 card + 2 farm cards. I get the TDM-system-maxed-out error message, and all I'm trying to do is work with ONE stereo track with ONE instance of , say, Rennaissance Reverb! This is with Logic Audio 4.7.3 btw, with 120 megs allocated to logic and about 80 megs to DAE. Any advice out there? I could really use it...

I had similar problems on a machine that you use. Logic was not able to record an play............!
Emagic told me not to set the memory for this aplication much higher than the prefered size.
They also told me that the memory managment in Logic doesnt work perfectly in machines with 1 GB Ram. they told me to remove the additional ram So we removed the 500 MB chip and then protools worked perfect. This bug will be fixed in near future

Wow...that's pretty interesting. Also--and probably more relevant for me--the documentation says that you need a MIX farm in order to use the Reverborator. Doh! Wish I could afford a MIX system!

Are you using a non-mix Pro Tools system too? If so, are you saying that I need to decrease my ram allocation in Logic/DAE?

Thanks!
