Re: Reverb Reduction Plugin Compendium
Unveil is the only one which does remove reverb.

Just for the sake of completeness: NML RevCon-RR, don't know if anyone ever tested this, it's pretty expensive.

Re: Reverb Reduction Plugin Compendium
Ambience can also be reduced using Cedar DNS by setting it to low-mid band only, and experimenting with various amounts of noise attenuation. Most reverberation is in the lower frequency ranges, so doing mid- and low-band noise reduction can reduce it while maintaining the desired speech.

Re: Reverb Reduction Plugin Compendium
Yeah I use Cedar DNS 1 for noise, sometimes removes verb enough where it sounds good.

Re: Reverb Reduction Plugin Compendium
Upward expanders also can work magic. Waves C4 (or C1)... But you've got to know how to use 'em...

Re: Reverb Reduction Plugin Compendium
I've gotten reverb out pretty successfully using Izotope RX for what it's worth.
