Default DTS: Can't register my MC Control v2 on euphonix site

Tech support:

I cannot register my MC control on the Euphonix site. I have several times tried to enter in the correct serial number, but to no avail.

I have sent emails to artist support, but no response.

Please help.

Thanks

Same problem, the serial number is too long. They refer to an eleven digit serial number, mine's more.

In addition, you cannot contact support via My Euphonix unless you have a registered product. When I previously had a registered product, I tried contacting them via My Euphonix, but as I was within my account my email address was greyed out, and could not be modified. As soon as I posted my query, it would return with a failed attempt message, saying I haven't entered the correct email address.

Probably best getting hold of them telephonically, as I similarly have not had a response to my email sent to [email protected] as mentioned in the FAQ.

I am also having the same problem.
My serial is 15 characters and they are asking for 11.

Indeed we are having a problem with the newer serial numbers - we're trying to determine why some are working while others are not. We'll let you know as soon as it's fixed.

When I looked yesterday it had bad serial number under My Euphonix, Tonight it looked accepted. I assume problem has been solved.

This problem has been addressed and you should be able to register now.

If you're trying to register at the Steinberg website - the fix should be coming there shortly as well. I'll let you know as soon as it's ready.

After I read this , I was still unable to register my 2 MC Mixes.
I ended up emailing [email protected] as it was not possible to use CONTACT SUPPORT at MY EUCON. Not heard back from [email protected].
Below is email I sent them

I tried using CONTACT SUPPORT form in MY EUCON account to sort out a serial number registration problem. I could not send it because it told me the OS number I was using was not valid. Nothing worked, Tried OSX 10.55, OSX 10.5.5, 10.55, 10.5.5, OSX, Snow Leopard. Cant imagine what else I could put????? Anyway nothing worked so I have copied what I wrote in the comment box I could not send . And as you see in my note, the request I have cannot be covered using the preset choices in the boxes anyway. Not a good start for a first time Euphonix user

Hi . Your boxes above did not cater for my problem so I just had to choose something to be able to send this.

I have just purchased 2 x MC Mixes. When I enter the serial number off either mixer to register, it says it is not a valid number. I can only use the number on the mixer, which I am doing, so cannot achieve registration Please help.
2 Serials are
DFDFPO xxxxxxxx
DFDFPO xxxxxxxx

(Serials not written for security but same number of characters)

So a number of pretty basic issues making this support form look not very well thought through. I hope the Eucon support is better once you do actually manage to establish contact.

Still no reply from [email protected], and still told in My Euphonix that my serial numbers are incorrect! So still cannot register my McMix and qualify for support. Should not need to make international toll calls to sort a simple matter like this. Email's been around for awhile now.

I have just today had my serial number/registration issue sorted.
Turns out that the last item in first grouping of characters, "DFDFP0" is in fact the number "0' and not the letter "O". The 2nd issue was that I had left a space after that "0" just as it appeared on the unit. ( it was a group of 6, followed by a seperated group of 8 characters).

So maybe this inside knowledge will appear in the faq or registration instructions to save all partys time
