Default HELP!!! ProTools 4.3.2 with Audiomedia III card

How do you create a Master Fader track? My only 2 options under New track is Audio track and Midi track, but no indication of a Master track. Any suggestions?????
I'm running Protools version 4.3.2 with an Audiomedia III card. That's it.

Thanks.

the way I do it, is to select all the tracks in the group window and then to use the trim option in the automation. then you can controll all the faders together as one master fader. It's the only way I know of.

Just wondering how many folks here go back into history and read the issues and problems of the past! We're talking 11 years ago with this one!!

I can't hardly remember PT4 and OS9 - although I spent a lot of time with both. I have a vague recollection of extension managers & conflict catcher, SCSI drives and really slow modems

ahh.......the good ole days, when you could turn PT on and run it for five months straight without a single crash.

I still use one of these old dogs.

Studio owner refuses to believe that the old $10k protools system is out of date. It still works though.

Seriously!!!!

True, but it only had about 3 features then.

Master fader was not an option in 4.3 and AMIII
