Is PT9 overwritten by a PT10 install, or can they co-exist?

Previously, upgrades have overwritten older versions, so you couldn't have PT8 and PT9 co-existing.

But I notice that the new iLok licence is a bundle licence that has PT9 AND PT10 licences in it.

Does that mean PT 10 installs separately to PT9, so both can coexist on the same partition?

If yes, then I can install PT10 and start checking it out pending news (see my previous post) on complete production toolkit 10 installers. Otherwise I'll not be able to install PT10 in case I lose key CPT features by doing so, until the CPT 10 installer becomes available.

It was mentioned earlier (I think by Max in AUB chat) that they can't exisit on the same OS. You'd need a dual boot system to use both.

If you upgrade to 10 from 9 you get to keep the 9 licence; if you buy 10 outright new you only get the 10 license.
