Default 8.0.4

I was reading through the Update pdf for 8.0.4 HD and it has a ton of fixes - most notably: Core audio with 3rd party programs is fixed and no more bouncing folder in the dock! I imagine these fixes will be in the LE version too and if so this is what we've been waiting for (provided that it works)!

Yeah, I noticed the release notes showed a lot of fixes that aren't specific to HD, so it seems LE and MP should be coming down the pipe pretty shortly.

10 pages of fixes!

Well played, Avid.

Yeah it says the LE/MP version is coming along shortly. Not sure why they wouldn't release the LE/MP version at the same time. They have had updates that were HD only, but I don't recall HD getting the "same" update sooner. Makes me wonder if there isn't a 8.1 coming soon. However it does say in the "Tech Alerts" section that 8.0.4 LE/MP is coming soon. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

Cool! And it works with Leopard, so I won't have to do both upgrades at once (been waiting till I finish a really long project before I take the jump...)

So AVID...

Will there be any 8.0.4 update for us LE users anytime soon ?

Its been 1 month since the HD update came out.

And...
The CoreMIDI.framework issue is a night mare !
I'm really looking forward to a fix now !
I mean, this is a BUG,
and you should have been able to sort it out by now.
This issue goes back a long way.

Its hard to understand it's still there...

Yeah... I'm kinda saddened by that as well...

However... this hints that this will also be the last 8.0.x release of Pro Tools.
