Another +1 for Toast. I have been running Toast Titanium 9 on Snow Leopard & it works great. No issues here.

Jam has morphed with Toast.. The advantage of Jam was that you could print out the track listing with all of the relevant info (ISRC codes, times, etc.) Unless they've changed it, later versions of Toast didn't have that available, which is quite stupid of Roxio.

Most of the features of Jam have now been brought into the newer Toast package. You can set crossfades, and even add plugins to each track (like an eq or multi-band compressor).

I think the newest Waveburner (1.6) has now enabled a burn directly to disc vs bouncing to a file first (which takes twice as long). That was always my beef with the earlier versions. I haven't upgraded to Logic 9 yet, so can't verify that.

I not able to purchase a CD software for burning so currently what I do is bounce to Wav. in PT then from there I burn in Itunes as a Wav. then the CD I put in my PC and convert to MP3, is there a BETTER WAY???, considering what I have now?

+1 for the link mindnoise posted. It's free. Looks pretty good. Much better than iTunes.

I'm using Toast 9 on SL as we speak, so version 9 is definitely compatible, therefore 10 will be too, I assume.

If you import the wav file into iTunes, you can right-click on it and there's a menu option to make an mp3 version right there. It's pretty quick (compared to LAME, for instance), and you can set your mp3 compression preferences. You shouldn't have to send it to a "pee-cee" to conver it....

I don't know that I'd trust iTunes for a master-quality CD, but for one-offs to use for quality-checking the mix, it's fine.
