New HP workstations, maybe HD5 PCIe possible?
It seems HP announced new workstations with the latest Intel Nehalem CPU's. They also have 6 PCIe slots!
Wonder if it will be digi certified.. http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/q.../13278_na.html |

Re: New HP workstations, maybe HD5 PCIe possible?
We're running an HD4 using the HP8600 which also has six slots. I believe two slots are really designated for graphics, so you probably couldn't load an HD5 in one.
The 'speed' of the slots also comes into play. We had some BIOS changes to make before our HD4 was purring smoothly.
