The MP3 option cannot be enabled
I have re-installed Pro-tools 8 MP version 8.0.5 and keep getting the message "The MP3 option cannot be enabled because: module initialisation failed for MP3.dll. The MP3 demo period may have expired., when I try to bounce to disk.
I have an ILok 1, with the latest licence manager installed showing my Protools 8M licence and the MP3 upgrade enabled, which I purchased some years ago. I have searched the web and tried a number of solutions but unfortunately non worked. How can I resolve the annoying difficulity?
