Melodyne for Guitar or Piano tracks?
I am considering getting Melodyne. I primarily record stringed instruments (guitar, steel guitar, ukulele etc.) How does Melodyne do on these polyphonic instruments? Can it handle pitch shifting a chord strummed or plucked on these instruments. Or is Melodyne only for single melodic line instruments?
Also, I noticed that Melodyne CR8 does not support RTAS. How do you use this program with PT6.7 LE? Do you have to bounce each PT track to disk? I'm confused. Thanks. |

Re: Melodyne for Guitar or Piano tracks?
To use Melodyne effectively, you must use a monophonic source. The sound signature of a chord blows Melodyne up!
You can use Cre8 with PTLE by ReWiring the Melodyne session into the PTLE session. I have done it before with good results. |
