mbox 2 mini/camtasia/ 3rd party programs

I have a great system at home but at my work we are look at purchasing a mbox mini bundle because the audio isn't too well. So I'm looking at an mbox 2 mini to use with mainly the software camtasia which is a video pro capturing device used by most colleges for blackboard and online teaching tutorials.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me if the core audio drivers and all that will work with 3rd party software such as camtasia on a pc. anyone?

anyone know if this would work or if i should just buy something else and can recommend something that will work. i can't import video after eiather and record. i just need camtasia to recognize an mbox 2 mini and work at the same time camtasia does capturing web based content... any digi reps know?
