Flawless transition to HD with ebay software etc!

I wanted to share my experience with others who are contemplating buying pro tools software off ebay. So recently I wanted to upgrade from LE 003 rack and presonus digimax d8 version 8 to an HD system from the past(96i) and pro tools hd 8 software. What really got me to make the jump was seeing pro tools hd8 on ebay for 149.99 from alto music. I was skeptical, so I started a thread(http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=357585) and based on a few answers I went for it. After purchasing the software I got a core card,accel card. a 96i and a 96i/0 and an apogee big ben. Got everything in today and in approx. 40 minutes im up and running flawlessly! So I write this to let people know that this user forum was perfect for info etc and to encourage those who have been curious but unsure if they could do it etc. yes you can! Thank you to all those who helped with my questions in previous thread!

question, I aint getting any audio from channels 1 thru 4 on my 96i. 5 thru 16 are fine. any idea?

The box needs to be serviced? Or perhaps you need to adjust gain for these? I remember that it might be software controllable... Check hardware setup.
