Default just bough an hd pci-x core card for $689

moving from PT 9 (le style) to hd....

it's been a long long consideration - but i snapped today when i saw a core card at under $700 (ha ha - had to! just couldn't stop myself)

i have a few dell 690's...3.2 dual cores...10 gigs of ram

was it a good idea? i think so

need an interface now - i can see digital 192's going for $899 all over ebay

please share your thoughts before i snag one

cheers

man im so happy for PT9 made those Hd prices plummet finally was able to get HD never been more happy... for these prices it makes one monster of a tracking rig... then if u just cant live without the latest and greatest mix in 9LE...im just thankful the prices dropped like they did

i wonder at which level the hd core cards be excluded from future upgrades...ha ha, but at these prices - who cares

please someone correct me - but did i see that the hardware (192s and 96s) will live on for abit through the legacy ports of the new models...much in the same manner that the old mix hardware talks 'legacy' to HD gear.... through legacy ports
