Default New build Win10- i7 9700K - HDX - PT12HD. Help, advise

Getting my HDX-1, omni, PT12HD in May. I Couldn't find any 9th generation HDX builds

Win10-PTHD12- HDX1
i7-9700K -$440
Gigabyte Z390 GAMING X rev.1 $150
DDR4- 64Gb (4x16) Crucial Ballistix Tactical 3000 MHz $400
peripherals (m.2. SSD. heatsink. case) $800

1- Any general experience, Suggestions or feedback from someone using 9700k HDX is appreciated

2- The motherboard has a 128Gb ramm potential. Is it recommended to go past 64Gb?

3- I would like at some point to connect my old 192i/o to the omni from the digilink expansion port. Question: The correct type of digilink cables to accomplish this will be: mini digilink (male: into the omni) to regular digilink(male: into the 192i/o)

Thanks

Some things to consider:
1-Have you already ordered the HDX card? If not, you might reconsider. Why? Because of a few things; HDX doesn't "fix" all(in many cases, native will perform better). If you are connecting to an analog console, HDX might be the way to go, but if you work in-the-box(with or without a control surface), HDN( in this case, a used Native PCIe card for $550-750) should give excellent performance with that powerful a PC.

2-you mention 12HD, but we are up to 2019.12 now, so I am curious on why 12HD is what you list(maybe you already own it?). This isn't an issue as 12.4 was a solid version and also, that version will not require the Digilink license(an extra $299 once you reach 12.6HD and up)

3-For me, I probably would have chosen a motherboard with a thunderbolt option(just a personal choice) but Gigabyte is my preferred brand these days.

4-regarding how much RAM, its a tough call. My own experience with my current i7 6-core/X79 build showed mo measurable boost going from 32GB to 64 GB(I ended up pulling the extra 32GB to use in another build). Having said that, I do believe you can't have too much speed or too much RAM

5-connecting the 192 should be fine with the mini-full-size Digilink adapter, OR you can run it(with the adapter and cable) directly off the second connector on the HD(X) card. The ONMI is a great piece, but does limit you a little(you lose 8 IO from the total available). That may not be an issue for you
