It's terrible.
It's the worst bug in the PT history.

I don't use templates: I copy a "sort of template" changing the name.
My session is complex, with many stems, auxes, plugins.

I use PT ultimate 2020.5 on High Sierra or on Mojave: same bug.

There's a solution?

Do you use RX7 as an insert on a track? If so, which module(s)?

...or, do you simply utilize it as an Audio Suite window.

I had an almost identical experience about three weeks ago. 2020.5, something corrupted with not just one saved .ptx file, but the last two revisions. Thousands of fade errors, and a session left with about 10% of the original audio... Luckily it only consumed about 30 minutes of work... but oh boy is it a petrifying experience!

It's unacceptable that this is still a bug in PT 2020.5.

AVID- we need a fix NOW. The case I had open lead us NOWHERE. WHAT IS THE SITUATION WITH THIS BUG?

Just had this happen again on 2019.6.

No solution, just back to where I was with my last non-corrupt session file backup.

I lost 10 hours of work and wasted $80 on an Avid support ticket. Disgraceful.

Really going to consider a new DAW, this is pretty devastating.

You didn't think having active support plan would be worth it?

I can't say that I've had any issues as catastrophic as this, and they haven't been able to help anyone with this issue, so why would I?
