Re: Pro Tools First and Rewire setup
Hello there,
I have not found the menu to allow me to re-scan afterwards installed software in Pro Tools First. Where would that be, anyone, or is it automatically done? Thx. |

Pro Tools First and Rewire setup
There's no reason I know of that it should be different than in Pro Tools.
Follow the directions for 12. http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/...s-preferences/

- SOLVED - Pro Tools First and Rewire setup
Amazing support!
It is all fixed. Reason Limited and Bidule are now showing up after your support and assistance. (important note here: The Bidule Trial version is a stand alone version and will not allow you to connect VST instruments in Pro Tools/First, only the full paid version does). I followed the steps to delete Pro Tools First folder from C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\Avid from that website provided and they are showing up in my instrument list. I want to thank every single user who replied to this thread. What a great way to start the weekend. Thx a lot. Defier. Last edited by Defier; 03-23-2016 at 07:52 AM. |

Re: Pro Tools First and Rewire setup
hi. I just bought Plogue Bidule to use with rewire in pro tools first and, like experienced in this thread, I cannot see Bidule in the multichannel instrument plugins neither stereo nor mono. I am using the plugin paid version of Bidule. I have tried to get Pro Tools First to re-evaluate the plugins by clearing its cache as per: https://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare...s-preferences/ but no luck. I am starting to think that it will never show up in PT First. I'm on windows 10 64 bit - is anyone else experiencing this? and how do I fix it? (I tried everything in this thread and no luck).
Thx. (note: I am not using any other plugin devices like reason or reaper - but really need bidule to work so I can add amplitube or similar vst). |
