Default Upgraded to 10.3.8 OSX 10.8.5 with lots of bugs..

I was using PT 10 with OSX 10.6.8 for a long time now and it was pretty stable - the only thing I had was a kernel once a week and I could easily live with that

but now that I upgraded to 10.8.5 and 10.3.8 PT became very unstable - I'm getting way more kernals and kernals I never had before (sudden black screen and computer turns off itself) as well as strange other stuff like protools telling me its not able to record because of wrong permissions and when I do a restart it works..

as well as when I'm noodling around with automation (which I do a lot) it happens every hour or so that I cannot use my spacebar as a stop and play button anymore I have to press play manually on the screen with my mouse.. reopen the session fixes it again

anyone else using 10.3.8 with osx 10.8.5 having problems? I'm mixing AAX with rtas plugins now - could that be a problem?

That OS/PT combo is very stable for me on a quad i7 Mac Mini.

What's you're system (Model, Ram, Hd's etc)?

Any third party plug-ins?

Have you done any troubleshooting?

If it is restarting on its own, go to Apple menu-->System Preferences-->Energy Saver and change "Restart automatically if the computer freezes"
