OS 9.1 audio files won't open
Hope this is not too off topic...
I backed some audio files up on my old ancient OS 9.1 mac (using retrospect). Now I've retrieved them and transferred them to my Lion mac. But I can play or open them.... Now it's said to be a "Unix Executable file". How do I get them into PT? I had a little look at some resource fork editing apps, but I can't seem to get it to work. Anyone knows what's up? thanks. Re: OS 9.1 audio files won't open
They're probably sd2 files without any resource forks.. treat them as RAW data files and resave them as WAV files using SoundHack... I have a free Win app to fix them if you have access to a Windows system...
