Export Digital performer 2.7 files to PT 5.1
Can anybody tell me if it's possible to export files form Digital Performer 2.7 as a OMF and import them to Pro Tools 5.1.1?
And if the answer is negative, there's another way to do this? Thanks in advance and best regards |

Re: Export Digital performer 2.7 files to PT 5.1
I've tried this with OMF, but none of the files seem to line up properly. The best way I've found is to bounce to disc individual tracks in DP from bar one & then import all of them into PT. DP bounces to disc faster than realtime (on a G4/400) so it doesn't take to long to do this. Saving the midi data as SMF & importing that into PT works well.

This doesn't give you a direct answer to your problem, but DP 3 has a protools session import/export function. I'm looking forward to checking this out when I get the uprgade.
