Default Thinking about purchasing a mixer

I've been looking to possibly purchase a mixer in the near future to allow me more options and faster time for mixing down songs, I was looking at one in particular, the Behringer Eurodesk SL3242FXPRO Mixer (32 Channels, if anyone knows about it or if there are any compatibilty issues with protools (001 by the way) please let me know, or give me an idea of a mixer that you would suggest, I also want it to have a talkback mic feature.

Wut up JAEPILLA!?

Q: Why a mixer instead of a controller?

Also, if you're lookin for either or, the Behringer BCF2000 is the cheapest solution for about $200.

Both cheap financially as well as functionally..

Also, I haven't posted back about that graphix card cuz one of my guys says he might be interested in it so I'm waitin' to hear back from him...

I to am looking to buy a small mixer for my mbox2 (need more inputs), but am not sure how I would attach it to the mbox2. Could you or anyone else tell me how it would be attached.
I'm new to the world of protools and recording in general.

A Controller is a Digital Mixer, which hooks up to your computer and you can control the faders in PT with the controller instead of using a mouse.

With or without a mixer, 4 simultaneous inputs are the limit for Mbox 2, angeltbone .

yeah the Behringer BCF2000 does look nice but does it have a talkback mic on it>.... also would i be able to run a few of those together simataniously? also the Tascam US2400 looks real nice but i don't think that has a talkback either... what would be better to get the Tascam US2400 or get either 2 or 3 of the bcf2000? i know the behringers would be better economically but would purchasing the tascam be worth it?
