2020.11 Update

Possibly a dumb question, but bear with me. I am on 2020.5 Ultimate on a Mac High Sierra. I want to update to 2020.11.


Two concerns I have. I see that on the down load there is an audio driver to download, do I have to download this again, if I already have the driver from 2020.5?


Also, I see one of the updates in 2020.11 is the ability to export audio to midi using Melodyne. I already have this plug in. Will the 2020.11 update cause any glitches or conflicts with the Melodyne plug in or vis versa?

I would think the driver is updated to is better to get it too

I got them both in the system with no issues at least here.

What about the fact that I have the Melodyne plug in and 2020.11 using Melodyne for its export to midi feature. Any compatibility conflicts or glitches there?

(Assuming you have an Avid HD interface) then Yes you need to not only also download the 2020.11 HD Driver,,,, but Install it FIRST then shutdown and restart your Mac, Before Installing PT 2020.11 Ultimate ( at least that is how I have always done it since 2011 and no installation issues with my system)
As far as Melodyne I don't know ?

Melodyne version 5.1 or better and your good.
Ive setup essential on a from scratch Mac,
Plus a melodyne studio system (upgraded to 5.1 first)

Seamless with both
