Default POLL: Best 3rd-party MIDI Interface?

After installing the core audio stuff my 001 MIDI ports (as was expected) no longer work.

I was never happy with those MIDI I/Os anyway and always told myself that I'd get a decent 3rd-party MIDI interface. What better time than now.

So, which unit gets your vote? I'm simply looking for multiple ins and outs (no less than 4) with just plain old stable timing and reliability as my pre-requisites.

Cheers

The AMT8 from Emagic will do the job, it's 8 in - 8 out

I've had the AMT8 for 2 years now and it's great. Works great in OSX and OS9 with OMS.

How about the cheaper models such as the MT4 or some of MOTUs products?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Installation was a breeze and it works beautifully.

Bare bones but stable, and I don't ever have to think about it.
