Re: A lowender killer?
I haven't tried it yet, but looks fine, and even interesred in the new multiband dynamics which seems very clever, hope they sound as good as I hope.

Re: A lowender killer?
The only function that seems to be missing from Lowender is the Bass Gate which is highly useful.

Re: A lowender killer?
Yes, it's missing, but we have other very useful features, like the volume per band, which surround channel triggers the processor, the built in automatable filters.
Looks fine, I plan to test it along with the multiband dyn in a few weeks. The last feature mix I missed a good surround capable multiband, maybe this can be the one. The subharmonic should be very good, because I own lowender, so if it's not spectacular, I won't buy it. :)

Re: A lowender killer?
I'm keeping an eye on this one. I've been using a combination of layers, pitch shifters, and my old dbx box from time to time. I need something simpler, ITB, that will continue to be updated for the foreseeable future.

Re: A lowender killer?
Those AAX DSP hungry folks will be the killers.

Re: A lowender killer?
You're right it's more expensive but also has some very nice function which might makes it more versatile than Lowender.

Re: A lowender killer?
Lowender works. And I have started using the UAD VOG here and there as well for added bottom when needed.
I can't see a reason to spend the money personally. |

Re: A lowender killer?
Lowender is still not AAX. I need a subharmonic synth in PT11. Money spent.
