MBox Power Light Flashing Issue

Hi,
After 5 minutes of using my MBox for the first time, it stopped working. Instead, the power light blinks repeatedly. It simply does not register as an option when I try to connect it on the Ableton system preferences page. I tried re-downloading the latest driver, but no luck. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue? I use Ableton 8, and I have OS Mavericks.
