Assertion errors moving Audio/MIDI regions around in 12.8.2

Anyone else struggling with assertion errors since moving to 12.8.2 on Windows 10?

Moving audio and MIDI regions around can cause assertion errors and I'm having to nudge audio around instead rather than dragging.

I'm also experiencing the GUI lag mentioned in other threads and the phantom MIDI notes where deleting a MIDI region leaves the notes behind.

All seems a bit of a mess really.

Lots of assertion errors when editing here as well (Windows 8.1). Happens when trying to grab and move clips, and on creating or editing fades. After each assertion error, the function will work on the next try but without visual feedback. Closing and reopening PT eliminates the problem, but it is quite a headache. Not seeing the GUI lag, but the nature of these errors implies it is a GUI issue.
