Try all 4 cores. My own system runs with all 4 cores and the CPU usage limit at 95%. You have a more powerful system than mine and should be able to run 12 instances of Eleven Free with no problems.

And the popping is just the Bass track still, correct? What is the plug-in chain on the Bass track?

the only plugin i have on the bass track right now is a compressor/limiter

And this is the only track clicking and popping still per your first post? If it is, right click the track name and select, "Make Inactive". See if there's a change.

yea i just did that and there still is some popping on the other tracks, just not as apparent, but its there and audible

just wondering what is the total load on your system? ctrl+alt+del what does task manager show?

to print tracks just set the output of the track you want to print to say BUS 1, then the input of the new audio track to Bus 1 and record it. you could also use a send. then Make Inactive and hide the track with Eleven on it. or you could bus them all to one track, but wont have independent control over each tracks volume.

This is more than enough for what you're running. Take each plug-in offline one by one gradually and see what happens. Ctrl+Win+Click on the plug-in will do this.

Also, you did the XP optimizations for your system?

actually i just went through each track and solo'd them each at a time and the bass is the only one popping....
