Pro Tools could not set sample rate to specified value

Hi everyone. After installing v2019.6 for a friend's session, and then going back my v12.5, I get this error every morning when I first open a 48K session - "Could not complete your request because Pro Tools could not set sample rate to specified value".


I dismiss the error, and then open the session again, and it works fine.


I've never seen this error before. What could be causing it? I guess I'll try trashing the prefs, and if that doesn't work, reinstalling.

Hi everyone. After installing v2019.6 for a friend's session, and then going back my v12.5, my system no longer sees my Sync HD. I also notice this odd behavior in the session setup window: The clock source is greyed out and says "See Control Panel". Which control panel? Where? My playback engine is HD native. I don't see any clock settings in the Mac sound setup. Where is this mysterious control panel it's talking about?



I think this might be related to the "Could not complete your request because Pro Tools could not set sample rate to specified value" error I've been getting every morning when I first open a session.
