CANNOT HEAR THE "PREVIEW"OF AUDIOSUITE PLUG-INS

When I try to preview an audiosuite effect, before applying it I hear nothing, is there a setting I am missing?

I believe with most Audiosuite plug ins you have to select some audio data, so the Audiosuite plug in can preview it.

Go to a track, select a portion of the audio and then try the preview button. This gives you a chance to audition a few areas of the track before committing to processing the tracks.

Check where the output for your previewing is set in the hardware i/o set-up box.

Just to expand on Burton's post:

-AudioSuite plug-ins preview using the output(s) selected in the Audition menu (Setups>I/O Setups window). Assuming you monitors are connected to the Monitor Outputs of the Digi001 (or you are trying to preview from the Headphone output), make sure “Out 1-2 (Stereo) is selected.

Yes, and if you have an external converter, then set the "Audition Options" in the I/O Setup to match your "new" main outputs (optical 1/2 for me).
