Wink Creative Collection

I was wondering if the creative Collection will run in PT 7.4. I paid for PT8 upgrade, but prefer the stability of 7.4 over 8 right now. However, I really dig the plugins of the creative collection! Do they work in 7.4, or must you run 8 in order to use them. Also, How does one install only the creative collection, or is there a workaround I have missed. Any info is graetly appreciated.

Yes. I'm successfully running it in 7.3.1, so go for it.

How does the install work. I do not have a separate install for just the creative collection. How did you do it? And Thanks for the info! I Totally appreciate it!

I installed PT 8 on a separate partition, then I just copied the plug-ins from the PT 8 partition to the plug-in folders on the PT 7.3.1 partition. You'll also want to copy the plug-in settings folders as well.

Was the PT8 still working on its own partition? Just curious, because of the way you said it... :) That would be really cool

Yes. I never use it though. Still running on a Pentium D (63 old Dverbs), so 7.3.1 is working great for me.

I have 8 on my PT only partition. My working partition has all my other software along w/PT7.3 and it's rock solid.
