Control 24 and pro tools le with mbox3
Will a Digidesign Control 24 work with a 2012 Mac Pro 5,1 running OS X 10.8.5 (mountain lion) and pro tools 8 le with an mbox 3? I understand this is a discontinued product but I found a good deal on a control 24 and was wondering if it was compatible with my pro tools system.

Deep in the online Digidesign archive there is info about this. I used to know, having owned all these devices at one point or another. If your PTLE software has a window in Setup/Peripherals/Ethernet Controllers, then it is likely supported. I have a dim memory of running a Native mix rig with a Control|24, but it was probably with CPTK2, which is probably not related to the Control|24, therefore maybe yes (?)!
