Countoff feature not working

Hello fellow users,

I am having issues getting the countoff feature to work in PT 2020. Below is what I have done so far to attempt troubleshooting the issue:

1. Consult the Help Guide
2. Disable and re-enable countoff, as well as set countoff to 4 measures instead of 2
3. Browse through advice on this forum for similar issues on earlier versions

I’m still at a loss after trying all three. I didn’t have these issues in my last version of PT, which was 12.8. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Are you using Loop Record? Unfortunately, count-off doesn't work in Loop Record. Have you tried going back to 12.8?

I had issues with countoff out of the starting gate.

I upgraded operating systems and 12.8 was no longer compatible. Could it have had something to do with the installation process? I doubt it, but in my experience, anything could go with Pro Tools.

Edit: I’ll do a double take on Loop Record though.

Hmmm, can't comment on the installation process as I have no idea what you did, or what system you are running
