LM2 TC Electronic
I'm testing the LM2 radar meter of TC Electronic as a native plug in, but Pro Tools plays just for a few seconds. It's a CPU problem, but when I'm changing the buffer size (or anything else) in the Playback Engine window, nothing changes. When I'm making the plugin inactive, Pro Tools plays fine.
I'm on Pro Tools HD 10.2.0 on a Intel Mac 10.7.3. Thanks for your comments. Nick - Sound Wizard, Belgium |

Re: LM2 TC Electronic
Yes, this plugin is really a CPU hog!!! I bought it yesterday and tried it in a test session (one stereo track, only this plugin). CPU usage @ 30%! Just this plugin.
I also tried the free LUFS metering plugin from HOFA, which also is quite CPU hungry. I assume the true peak metering or the "simulation" of displaying intersample peaks with the true peak meter is very CPU intensive. So let´s hope they have a chance to optimize their code.
