crazy scrub

Hey anyone come across this one?

Just upgraded to PT 8.0.3 the other day and getting this crazy scrub tool behavior.

Sorry if this has already been discussed.

I have worked on several session since upgrading and......
When I use the scrub feature the cursor on the track disappears.
The cursor actually shows up on another unrelated track, which is pretty useless.

Been using tools for years so it's not a newby thing.
haha, just found something....
It only plays up when I have the video track online
otherwise it is fine

Hey Digi are you aware of this?
Is there a fix in the pipe line? cause it's pretty boring.

Try:

In Preferences->Operation Preferences-> Edit Insertion Follows Scrub/Shuttle

When selected, the edit cursor automatically locates to the point where scrubbing stops.

Yeah thanks, I am aware of this pref. but it's not that.
the cursor disappears while I scrub regardless of what happen when I stop.
