Default Can I switch interface between MBox and MBox 2 Pro

I recently purchased MBox 2 Pro, and I also still have an older MBox.

I installed PT7.1 with MBox 2 Pro on my new Intel MacBook and it runs fine. BUT is there a way I can use my old MBox on the same MacBook?

When I connect my old smaller MBox to my MacBook and launch PT 7 I get the "Unable to locate Digidesign hardware" error message. How can I tell PT 7 that I have a different interface attached?

I would like to be able to use the smaller MBox for listening/mixing (not recording) while I'm commuting. There must be some way to do this but I cannot figure it out.

Thanks

It should work fine. Did you read this:

Compatibility Alert
Use of Mbox 2, Mbox 2 Mini, Original Mbox, or Other USB Audio Devices on the Left-Rear USB Port Is Not Recommended

* There are 2 USB ports on the left side of the MacBook models listed above.
* Due to internal USB architecture issues on the MacBook, use of Digidesign, M-Audio, or third-party USB audio devices is supported on the front USB port only (the port farthest away from the screen).
* Use of such devices on the rear USB port is not advised because it may cause audio interrupts and/or dropped samples.
* However, the use of an iLok on the rear port has been qualified and is fully supported.
