Default MC Pro Joysticks

Would anybody know where I can get hold of a replacement joystick for my MC Pro? Recently on startup, the left joystick vibrates vertically after the initial 'corner to corner' calibration. The MC Pro is from 2006 / 2007 (silver old school type) so I'd imagine it's sensors are a bit old and wonky.

Any help would be very apprciated!

We should have them in stock at Avid, just give CS a call. they are made by Alps but are no longer available...we bought a large supply.

Eddie,
Do you think it's possible to build 1or2 joysticks in some stand-alone housing and have them connected to my v1 MCPro (wich has a 4-fader module) ?

I know JL Cooper built those stand-alone surround panners, but nowadays they only build the ones without servos.......I mean I've been searching quite a bit in order to find a motorized surround panner next to my MCPro........

Thanks!
Niek / Amsterdam.

I'm sorry its a lot more than just the joysticks...there are quite a few driver and interface boards, none of which are made anymore. the only option would be to purchase a secondhand MCPro with joysticks and possibly a CM408 for the faders.

Two more questions,
  1. If I am able to obtain 2 or 3 CM 408T modules, is it "flawless" flawless to connect them to my v1 MC Pro?
  2. Is it possible to change my MC Pro's 4-fader board to a 2-joystick-panel? And are those panels maybe still for sale?

Thanks again for your help.
Niek/ Amsterdam.

With the new MCPro release coming up yes the CM408s will work great with the MCPro v1.
Its not possible to change from 4 faders to Joysticks on the MCPro.

Thanks Eddie.
Thanks for your great effort on this upcoming MC Pro update!

Pity to hear that it's not possible to change the faders for joysticks......
I think I'll try to obtain a JL Cooper surround joystick soon !

Thanks!

Is it possible to add a CM403J to an existing S5-MC ?
Since my MC Pro hasn't got the motorised joysticks and since JL Cooper only makes those un-motorised joysticks nowadays, I wonder if it's possible to expand my MC Pro with a CM403?

Thanks, Niek.

So the only 2 options for adding joystick to my MC Pro are:
  1. Buy another MC Pro with 2 joysticks
  2. Buy a non-motorised joystick from JL Cooper

?

Thanks for your help!
