Default Control Panel and Pro Tools show different buffer size (latency).

Mbox 3 pro
Win 7 64bit
Intel cpu with Nvidia motherboard (yes I know this is bad, but it has worked before without issue.)

1. Open new session, add tracks, record, add plug-ins. No Problem.
close session for the day. Come back next day and I hear a major delay when recording. No preferences or anything were changed. Just shutting down computer and starting the next day.

2. My Mbox control panel in general setup shows my Buffer size (latency) as 128 but in my playback engine in pro tools it shows 256. I can not make them the same. If I change my buffer size in pro tools the control panel changes to the option just under the pro tools buffer size. Ex. 512 in PT and 256 in control panel. I can make the PT 64 and the control panel 64 but I get audio artifacts and I still get noticeable latency from my input device.

3. My playback often stops working and if i check the minimize additional I/O latency box i get sound again. Then it will cut out after I am editing or mixing and then I check the box again and the sound comes back. So wierd.

I have also done a lot of research and made my rig very PT friendly. At least as much as possible without getting a new computer.

Here is my sandra report. Please help!!!
