S3 Fine Ctrl not working?

I am doing some notching within my session. I had a C24 before and never had this issue. Using the Channel Control encoders I can't get into "fine" mode. I keep moving over a frequency. When I mouse and click command modifier I can get the right frequency and it goes into fine mode perfectly. I tried to flip faders and also tried the same thing with the channel strip encoders, still no fine control when needed. This is occurring with the MCDSP NF575. I tried using an EQ3 and it seems to have the same issue. How do you properly fine control plugins with the S3? WHy don't the modifiers work in this way?

Also why is the "Fine CTRL" modifier tied to the CTRL button, shouldn't it be "Fine Command" (doesn't seem to modify fader or encoders with either anyway) Modifier does work on the board in conjunction with a mouse though, which is ridiculous that I have to mouse to fine control.

Hey, I realize that this is a pretty old post but I'm wondering if you ever resolved this. I am having the same issue.

Yes this was fixed a couple of releases ago.

I'm using Eucon v 20.1.0 and PT ultimate 2019.12 and notice fine mode for mapped plug in knobs is accessed by using the Command modifier button on the S3 surface.
"Fine" is stenciled above the CTRL button.

Yes, this is how it is working for me too. (command button)
