There's a lot I can say on this specific subject. For now and in brief, Cherry MX Speed and Opto-Mechanical switches will have the lowest latency.

They only use one USB port. The second port is a USB pass-through port, which can be used for a mouse or headset etc. I myself would avoid using a pass-through port as they add additional latency.

Hmm ok so even a good wireless mouse like the G703 would then use another though... as it has that little usb receiver..

Bluetooth would be the answer which will work fine when in DAW I guess...

I was actually looking at the Logitech MK850 as it can be totally bluetooth and has mac keys written on it as well.. but no backlighting.. I am sure for daw use it will be a great setup though, and then I can get a specific rig i plug in when i want to game.. i suppose that makes sense.. when in DAW i have so many usb devices you wouldn't believe it..

Just wanted to say thanks and apologise.

After 8 months of indecision.. and using bootcamp windows 10 for a while on my macbook..

I decided to stay with mac.. I actually ordered an imac pro yesterday, finally, the 8 core, 64gb ram, 2TB SSD.. will be here Aug 25..

Thanks again, I just wanted to correct the info here and ask the mod to close the topic if possible, since you are a mod Shan.

I really appreciate your help and again, sorry, I feel stupid but in the end I just couldn't seem to leave the mac eco system, for better or worse.

Cheers

Not a problem and all the best with the new system!

The thread will remain open, as a few others have requested this specific toggle shortcut script.

Great thanks!

I hope it's of use to someone else.

BTW, if anyone is interested, I am ordering this:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/s...computers-pc#/

He said imac pro full support will be out by the time they are sent out.

I decided I will do windows 10 direct comparisons on the same machine with PT after all, so the shortcut program will still come in very handy :)
