We can hope, I wouldn't bet my bottom dollar on it though.

Sorry for asking the same question but I don' know wich thread gets most attention from Avid.

I'm curious how the Mbox Pro AD/DA compares to the 003/Mbox2 Pro ?

Guess you've never used any of the ProFire series.

Chrisdee,

Several sources are saying that the converters are as good or better then the Apogee Duet. If that's true, that would be a significant upgrade from the 003, and certainly the Mboxes.

Both the converter section and the pres are totally new designs, not tweaked versions of old stuff.

- ADC is a software thing. I havent seen any thing announced about that. So if that is important to you, then I'd keep my money in the bank until its actually out and ppl on this site report that its working bug free.

I actually found a thing called Auto Time Adjuster by Mellowmuse that works like a Automatic Delay Compensation (which you find in the PT HD systems) for Pro Tools LE system. It seems solid.

I will definitely get this! To others who wants the same, check it out!

What does the in-board DPS card inside the MBox really do? Does it have the function as the ADC? And since there is a internal DSP card in the MBox now, will there be support for VST plug-ins? And last, is it fully compatible with Windows 7 64-bit giving me the opportunity to use all of 8 or 16GB of RAM?
