New iLok Manager

There's a new iLok manager out and it solved a problem for me today.

I had this come up on a session that was fine a few weeks ago. All better now. Hope this helps someone out.

Sure, at launch it was a CF of the first order, but since then, it's settled down nicely I'd say.

Hmm, what to do. My current one works just fine...is this one of those "forced as soon as you sign on" upgrades?

It's not. You have an option.

In my case, it fixed a session that simply wouldn't open otherwise. So I'd only update if you see a similar issue maybe?

so are you saying that this "AlturaPorts" error is happening because of the iLok ?
I had this error message popping a couple of times, too.

Seemed so for me. It's likely a plugin that was using the Pace layer or something, but directly or indirectly yes.

BTW, there's another new version out today. 2.2.3
