can anyone recommend a good place to purchase bulk trs and xlr connectors. I'm getting ready to do some wiring and I'm having a hard time finding a place to get the goods. Looking for Neutrik connectors.

Well, I ttried Anixter, got a quote in .... and it was almostt twice what I had found elseware. Nice scam guys. I mean, where talking Nuetrik trs. stocked all over the web. @ $4.???? PLEASE

Redco in CT are excellent. Have great knowledge of cables connectors etc. I wired my whole studio and built all my snakes with stuff from them. They also do panels and mic boxes etc.

That just goes to show you that you have to do your homework no matter what. When someone claims something, check it out but don't trust them without looking into it. Like the old Reagan quote to the Soviets when they gave a promise of arms reduction, "Trust with verification".

Scam? All I know is in the 20 years I've been buying bulk cable and connectors I haven't found anybody better. If you are willing to search out each individual item for the best price I'm sure you can get cheaper deals. I guess it just comes down to what value you put on your time. For me and most of the major installers in the LA area this is the source.
