Default Pro Tools 6.9 LE

I had ProTools 6.7, Digi 002 rack and Command 8. Everythingwas fine this morning. Until I decided to upgrade to 6.9 vesion. Result: my command 8 doesn't work anymore (is always off line) and digi 002 rack during the opening software is asking me for a v.1.21.v firmware. Where I can find it? Any idea how to make the command 8 work?

Thank you

Fabster,

Open Pro Tools, go to Setups>Peripherals>MIDI controllers>type in Command 8 etc. then click OK.
I had the same problem when I upgraded to ver. 6.9. This is what corrected it. Hope this is the case with you.

Glad to be of help.

Yes, you will need to reenable the Command|8 in Peripherals.

As for the 002 firmware - it's already on your computer. It will 'download' from your computer to the 002, just click 'ok' in the dialog and allow the update to continue.

I had issues with my command 8 when I upgraded to 6.9 as well . What I had to do was tell 6.7 to unistall all the hardware drivers for the command 8 and digi 002 and re-install them from the 6.9 cd.. It wasn't comming up in the list when I just choose un-install 6.7 software only ...
