Run out of CPU error 6031
Just some further information that may or may not be of help. I've seen various reports of those with this problem and various solutions offered.
I have had this problem ever since building my new I7 machine, finally seem to have tracked it down to an Nvidia driver problem (Nvidia 210 card). I tried rolling back the driver but that didn't help. As soon as I disabled the driver and used the onboard graphics the issue seems to be resolved. I would point out that this isn't the first time I've had issues with Nvidia drivers, on another audio machine running Pyramix I tracked down the fault to PCI buss spikes, I haven't had the chance to check if this was the same, but it is looking very likely. Perhaps someone can jump in with video cards that are ok, perhaps a basic ATI card? |
